Objectives of the Directorate

The Directorate of MSME, Haryana functions as the nodal agency for promotion, development and facilitation of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and small businesses in the state by creating a more vibrant and conducive ecosystem for them to grow and sustain.

The Directorate works on all the functional aspects of an enterprise to fuel burgeoning of state MSME-sector, such as credit facilitation, market linkages & vendor development, cluster & common infrastructure development, technology upgradation, fostering entrepreneurship, innovation & research, capacity building and skill development, etc. The Directorate shall provide promotional, developmental and facilitation support to MSMEs and small businesses through policy advocacy, formulating focussed support mechanism, field level hand holding support and robust grievance redressal mechanism.

The Directorate shall create and maintain exhaustive information base on the MSME-sector scenario and Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) in the State as well as conduct studies and surveys from time to time. It shall play the role of harbinger of change and assist MSMEs & small businesses overcome their challenges pertaining to access to credit, markets, technology, finance, quality and infrastructure by facilitating innovation & promotion, introducing suitable interventions, robust policy framework and providing hand holding support.
