Objectives of the Cell
- Prime objective of the Micro/ Village Enterprise Development Cell is to strengthen the MSME Ecosystem through promotional activities and recognizing opportunities.
Key Result Areas
- Strengthen the micro enterprise ecosystem, identification of entrepreneurship opportunities at block level
- Support traditional industries like pottery, handicrafts etc. to improve their technology and product quality by undertaking cluster level interventions
- Coordinate with Ministry of MSME and leading NGOs to initiate programs under the SFURTI scheme for regeneration of village industries
- Undertake capacity building and skill development programs for rural entrepreneurs to polish their business & technical skills
- Support execution of all micro & village industries’ related developmental schemes including grant of National/State Awards to artisans,
- Promotion of rural entrepreneurship by providing institutional and handholding support
